The University of Sydney’s online Master of Project and Program Management offers you the opportunity to become a strategic and forward-thinking leader.
You can choose to enrol directly in our online Master of Project and Program Management or in the online Graduate Certificate in Project Management designed to empower you to build upon existing experience in a specific field or upskill to advance your career. The Graduate Certificate helps to develop the foundation you will later need to tackle the more intensive theoretical and practical work in the master’s degree.
To be eligible for admission to the Master of Project and Program Management, you must have:
- two years of relevant work experience and
- an Australian bachelor’s degree (AQF7) or equivalent qualification, or
- the embedded Graduate Certificate in Project and Program Management with a credit average (65 percent), or
- the Graduate Certificate in Project Management with a credit average (65 percent).

To be eligible for admission to the Graduate Certificate in Project and Program Management, you must have an Australian bachelor’s degree (AQF7) or equivalent qualification.
If you’re not sure if your employment or education experience matches with the above guidelines, send your CV to an admissions adviser to discuss other opportunities. Students with a high level of relevant achievement may be admitted provided the Dean is satisfied with the achieved learning outcomes equivalent to an Australian bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant work experience.
